It's been almost 5 years since we've launched color-hex. In those years, color-hex has changed several times, but never like this time. As most of you realise, color-hex has now more features then ever. Here are new features and updates;

Hey y'all I feel like u guys should accept the palettes more quickly cuz some of the palettes ive created still havent been approved also i think there should be a calculator feature on the site where you can do long calculations so you dont have to do them in your head also i think there should be a messenging thing so you can chat with another user

I'm trying to create a chrome custom search engine and normally one is able to do this by typing in a test query (e.g. searching for anything in the your search box with the following gray descriptive text inside it; "color hex, name, rgb, hsl or hsv"), then copying the URL if the subsequent search results page, and then replacing term I searched for with %s. Then at chrome://settings/searchEngines I'd add the URL from above. Can you please provide or inform how I could obtain this URL? I'd use your sure all the time if you could...
Some tips- #1: a delete palettes feature! #2: the ability to follow users who you believe make good palettes so you can get notifications of when they make a palette (this is more complex, probably)

Thanks for this site. It really is a hidden gem to me. I use this site regularly now when thinking up design ideas. sometimes just looking at the right palette can kick off a good idea.

Very useful site but ... one improve please. I want to add a new palette and message "Palette colors already exists in other color palette." appear. May by is useful to display existing pallet name not only message.

HOW DO I DELETE PALETS
In regards to Terriholly's question about the color samples in the stores, the only thing I could think of is to make note of analogous colors or very close tints or shades related to the color. I know how it is when you want that "just right" color. It reminds me of that sitcom "The League"...the daughter insisted on having cinnamon paint on one wall. They kept showing her samples, and she kept saying "nope, that's not cinnamon". They were about to pull out their hair, but she would not accept anything except the color in her mind. So, the husband saw a guy at the spa with the perfect color skin, and he snapped a picture of the guy's back while he was lying down waiting for a massage. LOL It was hilarious! That show is crazy.
I was just surfing the web for hex codes. I can't seem to reproduce the amber color of my dog's eyes. Anyway, I started looking through this site and realized I'd hit the gold mine. Wow! There are so many features here, unbelievable! This is a valuable resource.

you guys should add notifications for when ppl add your palettes to their favourites or comment on your palette! and maybe a function where you can rearrange the colours in your palette while you're making it (i always change my mind on the order the colours should be in once ive chosen everything) (: also maybe smth where we can arrange our palettes? kinda similar to the way u can arrange your pens in https://codepen.io/
