All but the brown are sampled from the color palette in Fermilab's graphics standards. I'm using them for plotting data from a neutrino scattering experiment. Blue represents the quasielastic-like scattering processes, red are those resulting in 1 charged pion in the final state, green has 1 neutral pion, gold has numerous pions, and brown is some secret fifth thing(s). It's probably just a smattering of deltas, kaons, and sigma particles.
