The legends say that the Rainbeast has loomed over Illuval for over four years now. No one has seen it, but they know that it makes Illuval's weather wonky. People have speculated that the Rainbeast is a large dragon with a long tail that was accidentally captured by sailors. For the four years before it ravaged Illuval, it adorned the dark bones of aquatic monstrosities to show its strength. For the four years afterwards, it used its powers to distort the weather with its colorful attacks. Somehow, the legend feels true.
