uptight Color Palette

04.30.22 in the moments before it was upside down again it was all blue. in the car, on the roof. reclaiming songs and staring at the stars. i pointed out constellations and we held hands like we were doing something holy. praying. i showed you both orion’s belt and the big dipper, and i tried to remember the names for every star in between them. i picked lupines and got mobbed by mosquitos. we drove through the mud and the sky was so blue. i felt the blueness around me, everywhere.
